How we are adhering to COVID-19 regulations

All the information you need to know about The Private Sea's re-opening.
Due to the recent rollback in restrictions in Victoria, we are now limited to 20 people max in the centre at once. This limits the bookings for all services and appointments with practitioners. If you arrive early for an appointment please come in and take a seat in the front cafe/ foyer. We will still be in full operation of services (Float tank, Salt Room, Infrared Sauna, Normatec and Light Therapy).

How it affects each service:

Floatation Therapy

We have taken cleaning protocols to the next level. Wiping down and cleaning the entire room with a heavy alcoholic anti-bacterial solution. The tank water itself is safe from water-born bacteria or pathogens. Having a heavy salt saturation in the water helps stop the spread of bacteria, the water is filtered now for 40+ minutes post-float session (protocol is 20 minutes) and bromine is added into the filtration to kill off remaining bacteria.

Salt Room

Adhering to the 1.5m social distancing rule we have taken chairs out of our salt room reducing the number of spots available to book. 5/8 chairs can be booked for Salt therapy all 1.5m apart.

Infrared Sauna

Reducing the maximum number of 2 people per sauna to adhere to 1.5m social distancing, an increase of cleaning protocol and only singular cold face towel per client.

Massage

All association guidelines have been met for all appointments.

Normatec Sports Recovery

Chairs are spaced 1.5m apart and cleaning of both boots and hip attachments has been increased.

Pandora Star

Appointments are reduced to singular clients to adhere to the 1.5m social distancing rule.

We are moving forward as safe as possible through this crazy time but as long as our doors are open you are always welcome.
We look forward to seeing in the centre soon

Bouyantly,
The Private Sea Team
